BRATS, BREWS & BLUES Festival 2011 was . . .

A Big Success!

Thanks to all the sponsors and donators.  Thanks to all of you who came to support us. And a special thanks to the bands.

were preceded by The Dave Amour Band, Soul’d Out, and The Craig Allen Blues Band; All the bands were great!

Four of the region's best blues bands came together for the festival.  The event was a celebration of toe-tapping, hand-clapping, soul-stirring and get  up and dance music.

Next year it will again be the second Saturday in August: Saturday August 11,2012

Location:  Klamath Yacht Club on the BEAUTIFUL KLAMATH LAKE at  2700 Front Street, Klamath Falls, Oregon
                          Time:  2:00 to 7:00 P.M
                          Cost/Donation:  $25.00 per person ($20.00 in advance - see below).

Included for your cost:  a traditional Bratwurst dinner with Johnsonville Brats, German potato salad, Sauerkraut and trimmings, PLUS several samples of locally brewed beers from MIA AND PIA'S PIZZERIA & BREWHOUSE, and KLAMATH BASIN BREWING COMPANY at the Creamery

To round out your afternoon of Rhythm, Blues and classic rock'in Blues music each year we hold a SILENT AUCTION with some GREAT ITEMS FOR BIDDING. 

We host this MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA to raise funds for youth programs in Klamath county.  One of the primary benefactors is Klamath Hospice's Camp Evergreen, a Bereavement Camp for Children who've lost loved ones.

Your donation is a great price to support this charity and "get away" on a beautiful sunny afternoon, listening to some great Blues staged by the back drop of Upper Klamath Lake, eating a bratwurst and sipping a brew with friends.

About our Rotary Club:

Greetings from the Officers and members of the Klamath Basin Sunrise Rotary Club. We are located in Klamath Falls, Oregon, the home of Crater Lake National Park. We were chartered December 1997, and are actively serving our community through participation in many local activities and projects (see our Community Service Activities page.)  We are also active on the international level by supporting The Rotary International Foundation.


The Klamath Basin Sunrise Rotary Club has been awarded Rotary International’s 2009 Significant Achievement Award.  This international award recognizes One Rotary club a year for outstanding community service projects that address a significant problem or need in the local community; involve most or all of the club members in personal rather than monetary service, and creating a sustainable service plan that can be duplicated by other Rotary clubs.
